Backwater Books is hosting its inaugural Patapsco Literary Festival in Old Ellicott City! Three stages will be setup throughout town to bring your engaging author discussions, children's story times, a Banned Books panel, and live music. 

Backwater Books Main Stage will be hosting several authors and panels throughout the day. Authors will be available to sign books immediately after their talk.

Jocelyn Cole, half of Juneau Black, will be at the Backwater Stage at 6pm. She will read from Mockingbird Court, take questions, and then sign books. BE AWARE that this event occurs before the release of Mockingbird Court, so attendees can preorder a copy from Backwater Books, and they will receive a signed bookplate when they pick the book up on or after Oct 7. Jocelyn will be happy to sign other Shady Hollow titles as well.
